Visiting the USVI is one of the easiest getaways for US citizens, and if you're interested in snorkeling, you won't be disappointed here! St. John had to be our favorite island, although we only visited St. Thomas and St. John. It's absolutely pristine and worth a visit, even if you stay on neighboring St. Thomas overnight.
Top Locations
Trunk Bay (St. John): A stunning white sand beach surrounded by jungle with an underwater snorkeling trail teeming with wildlife.
Maho Bay (St. John): One of the most reliable places in the Caribbean to snorkel with green sea turtles.
Magen's Bay (St. Thomas): A beach with very calm waters, perfect for swimming.
Buck Island Reef National Monument (St. Croix): World-class snorkeling away from the crowds of St. Thomas.
